We are Julie Dean and Keith Serpa—a performing duo based in Charlotte, NC who love to fuse our fun and romantic flair into groovy originals and cover songs as Beauty & The Blues!
Born in the heart of the windy city, home and soul of the blues, Keith has rhythm pulsing through his veins. His sweet & gritty groove is both captivating and entertaining—a home-brewed style that is simply soulful.
The musical style and innovative groove Keith brings to the singer-songwriter craft makes for an intriguing pairing with the crisp & clear voicing of Julie, local Charlotte songstress.
Known as a versatile singer and musician, Julie is in demand as a soloist and backup singer at musical events around Charlotte and beyond. She brings a fresh and folky spin to jazz standards, an angelic lightness to old country tunes, and a surprising spunk to the pop and rock that they roll!
